All in all not a bad day

A had her operation today. It went well from the start when A was bumped up the list due to a canceled operation. This meant that she was back on the ward organising which photo she wanted where at about 12.30. They wouldn't make an exception and let me wait in recovery for her to wake up. Instead I had to wait on the ward and I was half expecting some member of the team to appear and tell me she'd gone to the unit (Intensive care) with anaesthetic issues (code for a anaethetic balls up). I wish I didn't know all the things that could go wrong. But she was fine and happy and pain free. She didn't even have any nausea.
I got a bit pissed off with her fussing at one point and because I felt I couldn't just tell her so I went for a walk. A told me off and said I should just tell her even if she's ill.
We saw Ms C who said we would see her in 2 weeks for the histology. Fingers crossed.

Been thinking about you both all yesterday & today- a little distracting when I'm in the midst of an interview & struggling to find a mime for 'what is your job?' for a Polish/Slovakian/Belarussian person with no English. So good to see the spark is still there & to hear both your voices last night. Yes I am now hooked on blog reading xxx

I have been thinking about you both too - it's strange to be blog-watching for news (how very 21st century) but great when it appears! Love to A, and you of course, talk soon xx
